Godswill Vesta Utong, popularly often called G. V. Utong, is a a banker, photographer and digital artist from Nigeria. Fascinated by the idea of loneliness, disappointment and explores inventive themes that convey to the fore the fickleness of the human expertise.

My works normally discover themes regarding disappointment, loneliness and the fickleness of the human expertise. I draw inspiration from Surrealist painters and photographers,, chief amongst them being the Polish painter, Zdzisław Beksiński.

I began images in 2017 as a method of escaping the boredom of my day job and realised it was therapeutic. I take footage over the weekend, then spend nights after work enhancing them.
